The Standard: From early Christian history until today, Christian groups have formed standards.

Details: Common christian standards include Creeds, Statements of Faith, and Catechisms. These are often adopted to ensure orthodoxy to principles of faith in response to cultural pressure trying to displace historical norms.

Common standards tend to focus on the nature of God, the person and work of Christ, the significance of scripture and the responsibilities of Christ followers.
